having browsed this website for some time now, i noticed every time that navigating to another page has that sluggishness to it. you click... and then you wonder, did i click.. and then before you can click again, the page you want to go appears in full glory. the click doesn't feel instant. it works. but not instantly.

i remember having that same experience when i made stuff using next.js... and lo and behold.. this app is made with next.js..

in general i don't necessarily dislike the next.js tech, or react for that matter. i love react. but i just really dislike how links work and components load in this new age.. the hyperfocus on eliminating UI jank or however they word it.

of course it's a personal preference, but i like it when the link takes effect instantly, even if the new page still needs to wrap up loading and rendering across its components... jank away.. because at least i know my click worked.
